Well, thanks to all the Faves&Regs for the salutations!

FiftyFookin'Eight...this is like the solid Late 50s, now.
Still feel about 18 in the ol'noggin, but the bod, espc. the structure,
is starting to get a little creaky.

A very exciting day; Not: made the weekly trip to the county dump w/daFridge stuffed full of junk. Bought a NewYawkTimes and Friday's WSJ. Stopped at the Club and hit on the range for a bag and then a half bag on the wedge/SW area. Putted for half an hour. BS'd with the gangs as they made the turn. Replaced the rear tail/stop light in theCEO's pos Honda CR-V, (da Fridge). Did some amateur rassling this afternoon, . Had a steak and salad with a '98 Rioja, and watched the 2nd to the last 6 Feet Under off the PVR/Sat.

One cannot make up this stuff in terms of the very exciting Retired life I lead,
.

I did hear from both Kidz, and a couple of theCEO's bros, and got a fineazz
20 x 24 Cibachrome print of a scene here in the mtns, done by a local pro, that I have admired for a long time.

That's my story of the Birthday Boy, (Ol'Man). Thanks again for the kind words. I figure any freaking birthday is better than not having one.

Time for my vitamins, a lil'reading in the rack, and some beautimous rest.
