Arrow Bad gas on the GSP

I saw this on the news this morning. There was a row of cars stalled on the shoulder of the parkway. I'd be pissed.

One lady was driving back to CT after picking her father up from cancer treatment.

I hate filling up in NJ because there's no Top Tier stations to be found on major freeways, and the quality is sketchy. I've gotten subpar petrol from Lukoil and Sunoco stations in the past :

The GSP used to be mostly Mobil and Sunoco, but when Exxon/Mobil had to divest of a bunch of stations, hellllloooooo Lukoil. I've never filled up on Lukoil, not even the TB. blah.

I have NEVER and will NEVER use Lukoil. I've had times when my X5 was completely empty and running on fumes, and I've still refused to pull over at the Lukoils and I've driven the additional 10 miles to get to a Shell.

Those Russian gas companies are lyin', cheatin' bastards and I would never trust the quality of anything they "claim" is premium gasoiline. I'm convinced they water down their gas. In fact, there were SEVERAL news stories back in the late 90s of Russian businessmen getting busted by the feds in NY-NJ area for watering down their product.

Buyer beware!

And while you're at it, steer clear of CITGO too. The only dictator-inspired export that I would ever consume are Cuban cigars

South American crude oil has higher amounts of sulfur. That's why I stay away from Citgo. That, and the political reason as well.
