Sean Avery is out for whatever remains of the Ranger's playoff run. He suffered a lacerated spleen during last night's game and was taken to hospital unconscious.

Kinda hard to feel sorry for someone who's a complete a-hole.

His gay "paddy cake" antics in front of Brodeur are a perfect example of why hockey is not taken as a serious sport in the US. Even his own teammates must've been shaking their heads at that one. Makes a mockery out of the game.

And then we wonder why the NHL has been relegated to the same channel as bull riding

I agree that he is a tool. He has taken the pest-role to a whole new and unfortunate level.

I think he picked the picture being used on the NYR site. I suspect he is a man that requires attention to feel good.
