High Def or Live ? (OSU vs USC)

Aaaaagh,

I'm trying to decide between buying tickets to the OSU at USC game or just watching it at home on a huge plasma with amazing sound.

In order to get decent seats to the game, I'm probably going to have to shell out somewhere near $1000/pair.

Should I drop the dime or just make a party at my pad and invite over friends.

A) $1000 pair of tickets and go see live game
B) $50-$60 on pizza and beer, high def, surround sound

What to do, what to do?

Tough call.

As far as actually watching the game and knowing everything that is happening, watching it in your living room is best, but at the same time there is something special about being in the stands.

That was my Obama answer.

Are any of your friends going to the game? Would you be able to sit together?

If most of your friends are not going to the game, then I would watch it at home and invite them over. If a few of your buddies are going to the game, then I would buy tickets. Either way, it is always going to be more fun in a group atmosphere.

For OSU fans, better to stay home to not be too humiliated...

Just kidding. I wouldn't spend a $1000 to watch the BCS championship between USC and Georgia, let alone a scrimmage game against OSU.

Would decent tickets really cost that much?

best seats for the game are at home...instant replays of big plays on demand with your DVR. you don't have the hassles of parking and walking to the stadium, fighting the crowd, being outside in the heat, or worry about someone spilling some crap on you. and when the game is done, you won't have to be stuck in the parking lot for half an hour or more. that could be the fun of going to the game, but i'm just too lazy for all that.

I think it's too early in the season to spend that money on tickets.

If this were the Nat Champ game at the Rose Bowl, I think I would do it. But I agree with all you, watching the game in High Def and 7.1digital is nothing short of fantastic.

If prices for decent seats were more reasonable I would go.. But those are almost BOWL GAME prices for the NAT CHAMP game.

Girl,

If you're coming to LA you don't need to show up at the party... You'll already be there cause you can crash at our crib...
(please though, no cows inside the house... Jo would flip out.)

LOL I wish I was coming to LA. Someone needs to plan WestFestV!

Cows stay in barns. Not houses. Ever!
