Go Mont. County Maryland...
Now teaching a PC version of Islam with no discussion, whatsoever, of violence. While they are at it, why not remove any discussion of the violence in the civil rights movement, slavery, or change it so that the Native Americans just loved the Europeans being on their land. Brainwash them while they are young.

Tell me about it Comrade. I too live in the People's Republic of Montgomery County. I have no doubt that our local commissar, Comrade Leggitt, knows what is best for us. Under the watchful eye of Chairman O'Malley he has put in place many policies that have helped unify thought and ensure that we all speak for the Party. Why it was only a few months ago that they imposed the highest state and county taxes in history- in order to ensure that Party has enough funds to continue it's important work.
We all know that it is harmful for students to learn historical facts that might deviate from the Party's teachings. I applaud Commissar Leggitt and the Union of Socialist Teachers for their courage and dedication.

Agreed but they haven't been all that active in countering it. What amazes me is that one of the largest counties in the United States will not teach the truth- good or bad, warts and all.
History should be told and taught as accurately as possible- a PC version may be commonplace in North Korea but it shouldn't be here. WTF are we doing to our kids?
