You've got to love Liberal California

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court which turns out to be the most overturned court in America is in the spotlight again. This time in a pornography case involving some pretty lewd and disgusting acts.

Here is the problem...Alex Kozinski, Chief Judge of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court is being asked to step down from the case for the following reason.

The Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday that Kozinski had posted sexual material on his personal Web site and then blocked access after being interviewed about it Tuesday evening. He told the Times he was responsible for posting at least some of the images and videos. The computerized cache included a picture of two nude women on all fours painted to look like Holstein dairy cows, images of masturbation, a video of a man being pursued by a sexually aroused donkey and a slide show featuring a striptease with a transsexual.

Keep in mind Kozinski has been mentioned as a possible Supreme Court candidate by many on the Left.

Take notice America.

Full disclosure...Because I don't want to come across as dishonest and partisan.

Kozinski was appointed by Ronald Regan in 1985. He later became an example of judicial appointees gone wrong and strangely enough fit right in with the Liberal Courts of California.

Even Senator Dianne Feinstein (Democrat) is embarrassed by his conduct.

Ever wonder why so many Federal judges who are appointed by conservatives become liberals after their appointment? Yet you don't ever see the opposite happen. Why do you suppose that happens?

Federal judgeship appointments are for life. Once appointed, judges are no longer beholden to the large corporations and lobbies that helped them to move up the ladder, so they can now vote their conscience. Of course, this is the reason that such appointments are for life -- to reduce the chance of a judge being compromised by outside influences.

If you were to change the rules so that judgeship appointments were for 5 years, this phenomenon of conservative judges becoming liberal would disappear.

And BTW, I know you were joking, but Fascism is on the far RIGHT of the political spectrum, not the left.

I don't define fascist by a wiki (j/k)...

Fascist is someone who wants an ultimate control over everything environment...aka modern day liberal. Nice outside smoking bans This is a ban on a legal substance AND medicinal mary-jane (a banned substance)

I would put fascism left of left...sorry. Have you seen modern day liberals??

I think you are a bit mixed up.

Liberals are in favor of strict regulation of private industry. Fascism is the exact opposite -- where this "control" you talk about is turned over to private industry with no government regulation at all. Fascism is where government is a puppet of big industry, and big industry controls everything. Mussolini once wrote that Fascism should be more accurately called "Corporatism". This is why Fascists and Communists have always been such big enemies -- because their ideology is the exact opposite.

Here is what Mussolini wrote about Fascism in 1932:

http://www.fordham.edu/halsall/mod/m...i-fascism.html

If you read, he clearly says that Fascism is the opposite of Socialism. He goes on to say that while Socialism, Liberalism, and Democracy (notice that he groups those all together as sharing the same ideas) all subscribe to the idea that everyone is equal, Fascism is the idea that a few elite should control everything and that the common person is not of any great importance. Read the whole article.

And from Encarta:

http://encarta.msn.com/encyclopedia_...5/fascism.html

Fascism, modern political ideology that seeks to regenerate the social, economic, and cultural life of a country by basing it on a heightened sense of national belonging or ethnic identity. Fascism rejects liberal ideas such as freedom and individual rights, and often presses for the destruction of elections, legislatures, and other elements of democracy. Despite the idealistic goals of fascism, attempts to build fascist societies have led to wars and persecutions that caused millions of deaths. As a result, fascism is strongly associated with right-wing fanaticism, racism, totalitarianism, and violence.
The term fascism was first used by Italian dictator Benito Mussolini in 1919.
