Doubtful, but it is possible. These aren't soldiers by any means if a group of thugs tried to attack a swat team in LA, they would probably get wasted. Do you have a right to be cynical and question it, yuppers.

its possible, sounds like they were all taking part in an operation when they gor ambushed.
generally speaking when they attack they use armor piercing rounds and rockets, with IED's .....and they travel in big groups so that they can kill more of our soliders in one go, we may thing they are just a bunch of twits, but they are pretty well armed
