Thanks for pointing this out. I took the advice of someone I heard on the radio to stagger the three free reports over the year.
I set up three annual recurring appts four months apart in Outlook to remind myself to check. Each has the agency's name (TransUnion, Equifax, Experian). On my first one, it was a pain. I had to type in three credit card numbers (one of which is no longer open). |

Also, Discover Financial is checking my report once a month.
![]() I have a perfect report but I heard on the money show on the radio that inquiries can hurt your score. I didn't fork over the $5.95 TransUnion wanted to see the score value. Everything is perfect on my report anyway :p |
