Gas prices are actually lower in SoCal
 What a surprise.....After vacationing in the NJ/PA area during the Katrina aftermath, the gas prices had shot up....In PA and NJ, say Regular unleaded go up to $3.38-3.40/gal!! Here in SoCal, most places regular unleaded are at $3 or just below $3 and super unleaded being about $3.20-3.25. For once, we are "lower" in gas prices compared with our east coast brothers....

Shocking as it may seem NJ gas stations are being investigated for gouging , gee, corruption in NJ, what a shock....

Not in LA..
It cost me $3.36/gallon today.. My truck topped off at $73....

Prices started to decline here as well from 3.89 for premium down to 3.45. Still wouldnt be shocked if prices never drop back to pre Iraq days.

Using the current exchange rate of 1.18 Canadian dollars to one American, and correctly converting cents per liter to dollars per gallon, the current 91 gas price in my neighborhood is 139.9 cents per liter.
This equates to a whopping $4.46 US per gallon. I wish I could pay your cheap $3.50 a gallon instead.  Filled up the X5 with 82 liters costing me $115 Canadian or about $97 US.
