atleast we know the TSA is doing their job.

got to israel today and both my suitcases didnt have locks on them which i had put on, opened them to a note from the TSA explaining they had done an open search on my bags.

That is why you should spend a few bucks for the TSA locks for the suitcases. No lock will keep someone out who really wants your bag (worst case, they simply steal the whole bag and cut into it later). But the lock will prevent casual perusal of the contents, and the TSA locks can be opened and reclosed by the TSA master keys.

We don't even lock our checked junque; the bag guys can crack
any lock in seconds if they wanna rip your stuff, and the TSA
gang can too.

eh im more worried to be honest about a baggage handler trying to transport something in my bag and me getting caught
