Production question
I was reading this month's copy of Roundel and there was an article on the new Leipzig plant. There's a list of all the BMW Group factories and what they produce. It says the plants in Kalingrad, Russia; Cairo, Egypt; Jakarta, Indonesia; and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, produce "Completely Knocked Down 3-series, 5 series." What does that mean? Also, what is a 5-series "authority" model?
And this has nothing to do with the other thing, but why doesn't BMW bring BMW Individual to the USA?
