The league is going to miss Messier. I suspect this season will be Yzerman's last, and I will be morning his departure just as you are now.

He was on WFAN at 5:30 talking to the 2 most unknowledgeable hockey sportscasters in the NY area. He sounded like he wasn't exactly sure that he made the right decision, he was hemming and hawing A LOT. I'm a huge messier fan and have never called for him to retire, but I think he made the right decision. Can't wait for january 12th when they retire #11.
