What a wonderful evening

74 degrees in the San Francisco North bay, no wind, no humidity and no moon. I've just set up my telescope for some excellent night time viewing. I can't wait until my son is old enough to observe the universe.

I'll be drinking a few glasses of wine enjoying the view until about 1am.

Good night everyone.

Rain? What is that? Don't you know it is Summer still? It only rains in California in the Winter. January - April.

Due there (SC) in 3 weeks - been out here in Idaho since late May, and I've not seen one drop of rain so far - not as beautiful as SF only because we've seen alot of haze from the CA & OR wildfires - normally it's crystal clear and you can see the Sawtooths 150+ miles away
