What am I?

Depending on my environment, I am often labeled this or that..
I was wondering, what do you think I am?
(in no particular order)

- I believe in small government.
- I believe in big business.
- I believe in better health care and oversight.
- I don't believe in socialized medicine.
- I believe in a woman's right to choose.
- I believe in the death penalty.
- I believe in a vast separation of church and state.
- I believe in the rights of gay couples to have equality under the law.
- I believe in a firm international policy, war on terror, presence in the middle east. (If we pull out of Iraq, I think we are going to be right back to some other M.E. country.)
- I believe in our presence in Iraq and the M.E. But I believe we were given false reason for being there.
- I believe a war for oil is a valid reason to be at war. (The world economy)
- I believe the only way to win the war on terror is the Chicago way, (Don't bring a knife to a gun fight.) Negotiations are useless with people who love death.
- I believe that decreasing our dependence on Middle East oil will only help increase the enemies we have in the Middle East. (Keep your friends close..)
- I believe that global warming might be exaggerated but we should still protect the earth.
- I believe that some people should drive electric vehicles and some should drive V8's.
- I believe in right to keep and bear arms.
- I believe the controls to buy arms should be tightened and there should be restrictions on certain types of guns and ammo.
- I don't believe in raising taxes on those who have worked and risked to establish their success.
- I believe in social programs that work well and for people who deserve and need it.
- I don't believe in expanding social programs so more people can take advantage of them.
- Immigration? Don't really know about that one. I think it's a lose, lose. We need the labor but if you make them legal, they then get better rights which will increase wages, which then would be good jobs for Americans. But how much do you spend trying to keep them out?
- I believe it would be exciting to have Obama as the President.
- I believe I will vote for McCain.

So, what am I? lol.

A Liberterian, imo...
but, handles and labels are what all the
frenetic, polarizing, sanctimonious
arm waving is about in regards to this
election and, politics in general, imo.
News bites and "what we are" is our
achilles heel for any kind of real gov't...

Couldn't agree more. But when I argue with my Obama friends, "I'm a Republican".. And when I argue with my McCain friends, "I'm a Democrat".

I know I'm neither. Both parties have their positives and negatives. But it seems like when you don't agree with people, they immediately assume you are with the other party and just don't want to admit it.

So, I'm a Libertarian huh! What's our view on the war on drugs? lol..

Legalize 'em all tomorrow, grow/distribute/sell them just like alcohol,
and give the ATF and wringing hands ninnies, and the politicos something else to do, imo.

You know what is funny? It seems like more people than not fall somewhere right in the middle of the two sides, fiscally conservative and socially liberal, yet we can't all come together to do something about it?

wow I agree on almost every point you made, I thought it was trivia to figure out who the politician was, I was like dang I'm voting for this guy.
