Health Insurance/Banking
From the Department of "You can't make this stuff up"....
Article written just a few weeks ago by John McCain: http://www.contingencies.org/septoct08/mccain.pdf On page 30: Opening up the health insurance market to more vigorous nationwide competition, as we have done over the last decade in banking, would provide more choices of innovative products less burdened by the worst excesses of state-based regulation.  Oh yeah...that's a wonderful idea. Let's remove the regulations on the health insurance market since that worked out so wondefully for the banking industry...

I don't offer health insurance because I just can't afford it. No other reason than that. I have told my employees I will pay half of it if they pay the other half, and they have all declined the offer.
