Hey guys I attended the Petit LeMans in Atlanta this past weekend. The ALMS is the best Auto Racing Series around in my opinion.I wish I could get to more races every year.Tried to avoid flash shots where I could.Still learning my D60...some grain and out of focus shots...esp at night.Not to bad though.Pages 1-3 are Friday night as I walked through the Paddock area after practice laps.Pages 4-12 are during the race on Sat.Around page 11 the night shots start.Got some glowing red brake rotors and blue exhaust flames!!! Pages 13-16 are after the race on Sat night in the Paddock area.Got some great shots of the winning Corvette and it's drivers.The vids are mainly for the audio.Can't get enough of those V8's screaming at 12,000 RPM's.This is only the second time the Peugeot 908 has raced in the States.Both the Peugeot and Audi R10 use TT V12 Diesel engines.They make virtually no noise at all on the track.All the heavy duty diesel particulate filters kill all the exhaust note.The easiest way to navigate the Gallery is to use the down arrow on the left side to preview the thumbnails.Enjoy!
