I think the focus on reforms is important. The global economies are linked, and we can't ignore that.

Gordon Brown wrote a good article a week or so back, talking about the need for a new Bretton Woods system for this age. We collectively did it then, so why would it not be possible to gather now and come up with something to address the systemic problems we are experiencing?

Oh I agree. Don't get me wrong. This is a global problem. But my thought is each individual should look in their own house first and see what errs they may have made and not wait for a government solution.

I'm also one of the very, very few that is not exactly 'sad' the financial market is crumbling. The only way to clean it up is to knock it all down IMO.
