Cool Then and now - 1936 Ford pick up & 2008 X5

It's time to put the old Ford away for the winter. Dad keeps it in his garage for the summer and drives it around town now and then. Halloween is the last trip of the year with the kids dressed in their costumes. I followed him out to NJ this morning.

What a difference 72 years makes. 1936 Ford and 2008 BMW

Thanks for looking

I love the Prosp. Pkwy pics...They make me cry!

I guess I have missed a few things! When did you pick up the 08?!

That Ford is immaculate. Where does it stay during the winter?

It's not the Prospect Expressway, it's 440 in NJ. I guess all graffiti looks the same

I picked up the '08 in December. Love it The pick up goes in the warehouse for the winter. Mom was worried we weren't going to make it. That old V8 ran like a champ.

We had a similar car until very recently, but a '30 roadster. The only thing that would stop the car from working was when I forgot to turn on the gas line.

Thanks mD,

Dad is fine and enjoying retirement. He's having a blast with his trains. He's building tressels for an elevated track to accommodate his coal loading car.
