kind of unrelated but I bought a set of Insignia NS-3006 speakers which consist of two desktop speakers and a sub. I'm using it with my MacBook Pro, sound is pretty decent.
Original price: $40
Purchased at: $17 (11/25) Best Buy

^^BB has it for 199 or $99 with select Sony TV purchase. Also saw Kmart for $180 with free ship. Frys for $178 +ship.
