When I was working out of my office in Miami, I loved my PC's. I had my desktop cpu, my avid editing system, my laptop and my home CPU.. All PC's.

Then I moved to Los Angeles and no longer had my "support team" readily available that dealt with our CPU issues. Within one year, ALL FOUR of my PC's were mangled beyond repair.
- I could not get my emails off the VPN/Outlook from my Miami based servers and I was constantly getting some sort of new virus, etc.
- Combined with the understanding that I was also running Windows NT on two computers and Windows XP on the others.

So after a year of having each and every PC system systematically implode on itself, I was starting grad school and no longer had time to run my PC CPU's back and forth to the "experts" who usually just made my CPU's worse or last valuable data..

So I bought a MAC. Actually, I bought two MAC's, a desktop and a laptop. It's now SIX YEARS LATER and I'm still using both of those computers, and while they are on their last legs, they've been virtually trouble free the entire time. My .Mac account never has an issues, all my computers sync what appears to be seamlessly and my level of productivity has gone up in levels that I can't calculate, cause I no longer spend ANY time dealing with CPU issues/drivers, etc..

So while I was hardcore and swore by PC for the better part of a decade, I WAS WRONG. (Though I do miss gaming.)

If you have an IT guy/staff to fix your problems for your office then PC's are definitely cheaper. But if you are a stand alone person and just want to use the computer without having to constantly wrench it, there is no substitute for a MAC.

As far as the guy with the dandruff and jeans bought at the grocery store, a little Head and Shoulders, some designer duds, might actually get him a girlfriend and a life, rather than taking his time trying to defend his poor choice in computers..

When you MAC users figure out how to do something other than "work" with your MAC, let me know.........I'm enjoying my gaming on my PCs.
