Selling My X--Need Some Advice

I just listed my X for sale on the board below and I need some advice. I have sold cars when I lived on the West Coast, but never here in the Northeast.

Any suggestions on the best place to get rid of it? And advice of things to look out for?

I am the bank at this point since the car is now paid off, but I do not yet have the title in hand. Does that matter?

Finally, I have a 2004 4.4i, pretty much loaded with a few DIY mods. Obviously if I sell the car to a dealer of some sort I will take out some of the Mods and sell the hardware here. But I would surely rather sell it privately so someone can enjoy the ride as much as I have. It only has 42,200 miles on it.

I am in no rush to sell, though would like to be out of the car in 46 to 60 days or so.

This board.

Use Craigslist, there is far more traffic. I sold a 325xi on Craigslist, to the first responder. Took 2 days start to finish.

Title is must from my knowledge. You bank will send to you soon.
Craiglist, Cars.com(I have sold 2 cars there), autotrader.com and ebay are some of the places you can list your X.

Are you going to get another BMW, might consider trading it in for the sales tax savings?
