SCX slot cars...

I know I am 30 years old, but this just looks like fun.

They have F1, Nascar, Rally and regular car sets.

I have spent some time looking at them as well and I am not even sure how I came across it in the first place.

I will have to try and find it again, but I came across a hobby store selling 1/32 scale BMW slot cars. They had the F1 car, e30 M3, e46 3-series and M, 2002's, M1's and a few other vintage BMW race cars.

Pretty sweet for sure.

Fseth,

Get a set and let me know if gets old quick... Or worth the investment.

I used to have Mini-Zs. It's no fun if you're the only one that has them. Ya gotta recruit your buddies to go in with ya!

I want one really bad right now. Who knows how I will feel tomorrow?

I think Twins is right. It would be fun for a little while by yourself, but you really need at least one more person to race against to make it interesting. I do think it would be fun if your friends were hanging out and wanted to race.

That is sort of how I feel about my Nintendo Wii. I never play it by my myself, but a lot of time when people are over, it ends up getting turned on at some point. Usually, late night drinking and bowling.

Another Mini Z fan? I was one too (Implied in the mis-spelled name, it should be MINIz guy like all the other forums I visit)! I was into it except I wasn't old enough to drive well, and all the guys were old and smoked. I would be the slowest one there, and I'd walk out smelling like 2nd hand smoke...a lose lose!

I might get into it again one summer. I have all the cars, the tracks and the fancy gear all collecting dust in the basement.

We should have a mini Mini Z meet on the next summer X5World meet

Hey MiniZ ... not old enough? Was that in HK ... I know that's real popular there ... those guys have some mad skills! I'd watch videos of them racing and their reflexes are amazing.

I sold all my miniZ stuff long ago ... had to sell my 6' saltwater setup with coral too ... though I'll be getting back into saltwater tanks & coral in the future for sure. Okay, thread hijack over!
