Done with dryland for swimming! Said that everybody,on average, lifted 25,000 lbs. I probably did a few less than the upperclassmen, so I'm guessing I lifted 23,000 lbs. in 1 hour and 11 minutes.

I think I'm going to take a bubble bath.

celebrated my birthday last night with the wifey and family...few friends...went out to eat....

and going to atlantic city tonight!!! nights stay at the borgata...but gonna party at Harrah's!!!!!

no wifey...no problems!!!!!

Driving to Trieste Italy on the Adriatic Coast today
Drove into the Alps yesterday and really liked Cortina D' Ampezzo. Once I have my network account established at the AFB I'll attach some pictures. Since I'll be just a few minutes from Slovenia and Croatia today it would be nice to visit those countries but I haven't researched the visa requirements. I have a Fiat 500 for this 6 months and that thing is actually a decent LITTLE car. Yeah, it is really small but it drives quite well.

So far it's going great here but am dreading Christmas away from home. I've missed so many holidays at home that you'd think I'd get used to it but you just never do. We have to maintain minimum manning here in my section so there will be 6 of us aren't able to leave for Christmas. The 6 of us are going to be together on Christmas Eve so nobody will be alone. Please don't take the time you can be with your families during the holidays for granted. Cherish every second of it.
