Picture posting issue?

I am trying to post a jpg photo - I can get it to the attachment section of "post a reply" but can't get it into my message to submit as part of a thread - in other words I can't get it to attach into the message itself - any help I'm a computer retard

When you make your post, if you scroll further down the page you'll see a section called "Additional Options". In that section click on "Manage Attachments" and in the box that pops up you can browse your computer files and select the image you want to upload.

Note that you need to stay within the site's file size and image size guidelines. If you need to resize, use a free program such as irfanview to do this prior to uploading your images.

I'm getting that far - I am able to browse - pick my photo - upload it and have it show under Manage Attachments but I can't get it into the "thread" box - I'm afraid if I hit submit thread it won't be there

Manage attachments open in a new window. After selecting pics and uploading, close that window. Than submit thread. You can always go back to edit the thread and add/remove pics.

I think I got it - it auto attached and does not show up as an attachment prior to posting - thanks all!

That's right " the picture does not show up as an attachment prior to posting" that threw me as well......

Other option is to host the pics on a site like photobucket if the pics are too big. They'll be auto-resized to the size you select.
