Just saw the worst movie of 2008

Gran Torino...

I guess with all the movies Clint knocked out of the park, it's only fair that he missed with one. Gran Torino really fails on almost every level..

Don't see it, don't rent it. Eastwood deserves so much credit for his great work that this blemish should be forgotten.

i have not seen it but it does not seem to have such bad critics from I read. On the other hands I saw "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and I really liked it.

"Valkyrie" starring Tom Cruise as the only German in the film without a German accent should be the worst of 2008.

I've not seen it yet but based on the few trailers I've seen it looks to be a real dog.

Gran Torino is such a racist movie we were just discussing this at a party last night and if you notice all the Spanish dudes driving low riders and all the asians in riced civics lol it was so stereotypical you cant help but laugh

If you read the Reich's history, by this point, almost the majority of the inner circle was plotting to either kill him or working on their own exits.

This was the only assasination plot that got close. If it weren't for the bomb being placed on the other side of the table leg, it would have killed him. Too bad, dumb luck.

The story is weak. The acting is horrible. The racial characterizations are stereotypical. The editing stunk. The cinematography was uninspiring. Even the car, the Gran Torino, was mildly boring.

Save your money and go see, THE WRESTLER or Slumdog Millionaire.
