Okay, here's the funny thing. I was watching the trailer with one of my buds the other night and we realized, it's a total fake.
If you look at Brat Pitt you will notice that the footage was taken from the movie Troy and then CG'd to make him look like a lion. The same goes for the shots of Hugh Jackman. Those were iconic shots from Xmen. I'm not sure where the Vin Diesel shots were stolen from. Maybe XXX or something?? (Just watched it again.. Maybe Chronicles of Riddick?) And I can't quite make out who the girl is. So probably for some sort of "test" for the movie Thundercats, someone paid a CG company to steal shots, add lion costumes, etc. And they probably shot the rest.. Combined it to look like a movie.. I even think the opening shot was from one of the Lord of the Rings movie. Pretty cool, huh.

The girl is "Chiana (Gigi Edgley)" from the Sci Fi Series FarScape.
It does say right at the beginning "Fanmade".

A friend that's higher up in the chain at a film studio confirmed after i sent the link to her...the film is in pre-production stage and is slated for release within the next 2 years.

The production is at Spring Creek Productions and is in Treatment/Outline phase. Basically that means it's in development. Don't be expecting to see it anytime soon.
