Job relocation to Fort Worth, Texas - Need some information on the area.

I'm possibly relocating within 12-18 months from NYC and I wanted to explore my options.

Can someone help give me some feedback on the area for housing, elementry schools (I have 2 toddlers) and general information about the dallas/fort worth area. Started looking in Coppell, any nicer areas in the $350 - 400K range?
