Thats crazy....Over here, you can get pulled over, not have your license or insurance or anything, and they write you the speeding ticket and you have a full 30 days to go in and show them your license and insurance and they will not fine you. You still have to pay the speeding ticket obviously though..You can just drive off after they give you the ticket, even though you don't have any of that info with you!

I don't think they care about insurance unless you're involved in a collision. I'm surprised NJ would explicitly say that the ticket blitz is for revenue purposes. VA disguises their crackdown as an effort to improve safety and reduce motor vehicle related deaths.
