Some pics of my other car...

I know some of you will laugh, but what the heck! 1998 Ford SVT Contour.

I bought this car in 1998, my first brand new car. For those of you that know this car, you can tell it is heavily modified. And I mean heavily!! Anyway, since then, I have owned:

1)2003 BMW X5 4.4
2)2003 BMW X5 4.6iS
3)2004 Porsche Cayenne Turbo
4)2001 Porsche 911 Turbo

and the Current 2006 4.8iS.

Throughout the car buying craze, and frenzy, my baby always stayed my baby. Here she is 11 Years later:

Certainly looks different. I thought a contour was some old farts car ... that doesn't look anything like a regular contour. Good job!

I have pictures of the other cars, only in print. Will have to dig them up.

I have a pic of my Cayenne Turbo the day I bought it:

The SVT version of the Contour came with a High Output Duratec V6, rated at about 200hp and 170tq.

I stopped counting the things I've done to the car, but amongst the unique things are the Headlights and Tails, both of which I personally built. I redesigned the Headlights by installing projectors and HIDs, while the Tails are LEDs...

I track the car extensively, it is plain sick on the track! Got Coil-overs all around, on Koni Yellows, subframe connectors, strut braces front and back... You can easily eat up corners going 60mph, the car barely leans...

Still get the kicks out of driving it! With the Headers and a straight through exhaust, this thing screams!

Ummm...assuming that's a typo and not to rain on your parade but the cycle for the 4.6is were only 2002 & 2003.

Hell yeah man, SVT was awesome when Coletti ran it!

I will have to gather my mod list, really it is ridiculous. That is my 6th set of wheels!!!

As far as power, at some point I had a fully built 3.0L [block taken from any 3.0L Duratec] with a t3/t4 Turbo. Dynoed it around 390hp and 408tq... Insane wheelspeed even w/the Quaife... The motor blew up while I was doing some laps at Elkhart Lake... My fuel pump shorted, engine ran lean, and before you know it, core meltdown...

For now, I got the stock motor back in it... Once I am done with Law School, and actually start making cash again, who knows? I would love to be able to stick the new Eco-Tec engine in there... 3.5L Twin Turbo... The engine is in the Duratec family, so it is basically a bigger version of the one I have... Of course, all the electronics are different, but nothing money can't fix... For now, she is OK...
