Australia's Worst Natural Disaster
108+ dead, over 700 houses destroyed. A whole small town has been wiped off the map except for 1 building. Dozens of people trapped in their own homes and burned alive.

And they suspect arson. Unbelievable. I hope no more are lost and, if it was truly arson, they find the people responsible and punish them accordingly (not that there's necessarily a just punishment for causing the deaths of 108+ people).

The toll has now risen to 173 and still rising as they search through scorched towns. Bushfires still raging throughout Victoria.

Much worse. Didn't 12 die in California's fires? The death count in Australia keeps rising, now past 173. Our hearts go out to the citizens of Australia who are living through this.

Just talking to a guy on XBLive who lives 40 miles from the fires which were travellng at 100 mph .... glad he's safe but my heart goes out to those who died or lost everything

It is an awful tragedy and the reports that many of the fires were caused by arson is sickening.
