for the HOCKEY fans

Often, the world is a very cruel place. But then, sometimes, when the Devils are kicking major NHL booty while the overpaid Rangers primadonnas continue to lose night after night, you say to yourself "All is right with the world"…..

It's kind of pathetic that Swamprats fans can't just be happy for themselves without ALWAYS bringing up the Rangers.

The inferiority complex is incredible.

The best part about it is that it eats at Marty knowing that he'll NEVER be a beloved NY/NJ sports figure because he plays for the Swamprats and not the Rangers.

How was that?

I enjoyed watching the Wings dismantle the Sharks on Wednesday, and will be at the JLA tonight to enjoy the game against the LA Kings.

Go Wings!!!

The wings really look good this year.... good to see the original 6 doing so well. I've actually found myself rooting for Chicago this year too.

Chicago has a good young team that is going to be a force to be reckoned with a few years down the road.

Guilty as charged. The Rangers' misery a big part of Devils' fans happiness. I wouldn't have it any other way.

The inferiority complex is incredible.

Funny you should say that, considering the "Garden Faithful" to THIS DAY have a hard-on for Denis Potvin.

The best part about it is that it eats at Marty knowing that he'll NEVER be a beloved NY/NJ sports figure because he plays for the Swamprats and not the Rangers.

No, he'll NEVER be a beloved NY/NJ sports figure, not Marty, the very one who's about to pass Patrick Roy in ALL-TIME WINS and about to pass Terry Sawchuk in MOST SHUTOUTS ever....Yeah, it's really eating him up inside...being the greatest NHL goalie ever....How will he ever get over it, that poor Marty....He's shedding tears all over his THREE Stanley Cup Rings...I hope he's got a good therapist....

How was that?
I give it a C-. See above....

Doesn't really matter what the Devils and Rangers do this year... Calgary is taking the Cup!

1) That's pathetic
2) It's called having a tradition. Something the swamprats know nothing of.
3) His records are indeed impressive, and yet, he can walk down any street in the US, including Newark (puke) and no one knows who he is, and those that do recognize him are probably rangers fans who will taunt him for banging his sister in law while still married.

By the way, I hear that Modell's is selling NJ Devils jerseys with a bullet proof vest sewn in for the safety conscious swamprat fan who ventures to Newark for home games.
