Many of you may not know who Hal was but i'm sure you've seen films or listened to records & albums that he either inspired or was behind. Hal was a friend and mentor to many. He passed in Los Angeles from cancer on March 9.
One of my favorite advice from him was "stay out of the limelight and your suite will never fade". Hal was the type of person that would reach for your hand but touch your heart...one of the last of a dying breed: a true music A&R. I'm proud to have known him.
