that's great but the Gov't shouldn't be backing anyone. of course that would be in a parallel universe where gov't didn't try to fix problems that it created.

Now that is one of the great cars that keeps FORD on my radar. Most new FORD cars are becoming more European, thus the total quality and ride quality are getting better every time. FORD > chevy and mopar in my experience.

I drove a Camry rental - Horrible car in my opinion.
It actually felt unsafe to drive... it didn't handle and would not get out of it's own way. I've driven economy cars that were both more interesting to drive and made driving more of a confident experience. Quote:

I drove a Camry rental and it is a boring car that does not feel as tight or handle as well as my 98 Camry. Toyota needs to update that car.
I also rented a Malibu and that was a nice car with much better looks. I think Ford & GM are building a number of good cars but Chrysler has almost nothing to offer. CR recent car issue did not recommend any of Chrysler's cars.
