Not to arm wrestle, but other than GM does "stick it in anything", one must admit
it is a helluva engine.

There's a lot of work to bring a forum up and running and getting traffic is even tougher... It takes more than just asking people from an existing forum to visit another forum as you basically go to one for the primary purpose of getting information you need.

So what am I gonna get from your friends forum???

If it contains good amount of information about something specific then it will be found in one ways or another and eventually build it's user base.

Remember, INFORMATION is everything on the web.
