The developer didn't write this exclusively for Xoutpost. Although we were one of the first vBulletin sites to participate in their alpha and beta tests, the application is written to work with any forum. My main concern was providing a useful tool for our membership.

Maybe you should do what Gobbleoff said and implement the mobile function into the server so it could be used on a mobile browser as well for non iPhone users.

cheers this is what i have been looking at doing for my site... Mobile, Cell, Phone, PDA, iPhone Style - vBulletin.org Forum it detects the mobile web browser, and changes the template to suit

I agree 100%. Creating this $3 app has turned out to be nothing but more work, Xoutpost gets nothing monetarily from it, and its limited to iPhone users. Using some free and simple coding to format the site to detect a cellphone seems like it would be 10x easier and works for ALL users instead of only two phones.
