let's get this big jet and fly over NY and take some pictures. And while I don't believe everything in the news heres what's being reported. "Last week, I approved a mission over New York. I take responsibility for that decision," said Louis Caldera, director of the White House Military Office. "While federal authorities took the proper steps to notify state and local authorities in New York and New Jersey, it's clear that the mission created confusion and disruption." Two officials told CNN the White House Military Office was trying to update its file photos of Air Force One. The officials said the president was angry when he learned Monday afternoon about the flight, which sparked fear in the New York-New Jersey area. "The president was furious about it," one of the officials said. The incident outraged many New Yorkers, including Mayor Michael Bloomberg. In fact I heard that a high level meeting was held about the incident and Mr. Obama chewed out a few people. What's going to happen next I have no Idea but blaming Obama seems like a stretch to me. Good point, however wasn't it Air Force 1 and not just some random 747 that did the fly by? When Obama fires the f-ing retard that came up with this idea and the retard that approved it, then I'll call him blameless.

Here's my question... if this really was a photo op - where were the photographers?? In the F16 fighter jet?? Were they supposed to be taken from a sky scraper?? Where are the photographs now??
Surely they should at least provide the pics to prove how necessary and effective this little stunt was.

I honestly believe I wasn't there and neither was anyone else around here.
So in all fairness none of us have any accurate information of the type that would allow us to positively blame anyone for this issue. But for those who want to waste their time trying to figure it out all I can say is have at it. It's all good........  Quote:

Dude just has to be fired over this.
I want to know the exact cost of prepping and flying a 747 from Washington DC to NYC and back (fuel, crew, any passengers?) and the flight cost of the military jets (did they fly from DC or were they local to NYC area?) VS: Photo of NYC/Statue of Liberty photoshopped with AF1. I think there are a few pictures of that area.... Anyone want to submit a few? It would be nice if we could send this guy a sample or two, at his new job.
