10 buddies left for South Bend from various parts of the US last night... i think the itinerary was fairly simple:

Pretty good game with a great ending! Not partial to either team, just a good game and it delivered. Now if our Colts can just shut down the Rams tonight.....

I think it's being overlooked that Pete Carroll has BALLS to go for the win with 7 seconds left, down by 3. They coulda kicked the FG and forced overtime. Instead he calls the sneak at Notre Dame, with the grass on the field high enough to friggin hide Easter eggs in, knowing time would expire during that play. Gutsy call, imagine the hell he'd get if Leinart had been stuffed.

He didn't go for the win. He called in a play to spike the ball, stop the clock, and kick the field goal. It was Leinart who decided to go for it after conferring with.... Matt Bush! It is Leinart with the balls... Great, GREAT game!

Ah, I got ya. I saw the post game interview with Carroll on Sports Center, he did seem kinda shaky when they asked him about that! Imagine the backlash if they hadn't made it, though. Sheesh! They might have dropped to third or lower in the polls with one loss! Then again, ND is still at #9 AP after losing to USC .

Thanks! I can't take credit for the cult phenom that is the Beer Looter Dude, though, that credit must go to the photographer who caught this American Hero on film!

I hear that there's video of the BLD out there somewhere, and he actually speaks! I may have seen it already, but can't recall. If anyone has a link to it, please, help out!

that was a great game. it looks like USC will run the table now. I thought ND would of pull out a WIN against them.
