Was it Andretti that raced in the Indy 500 and then flew to Charlotte and did the Coca Cola 500 also....I think they carried him out in a stretcher from exhaustion.

left, left, left, left, repeat

F1 practices are more entertaining to me than NASCAR races, but any racing is better than no racing.

Tony Stewart has done this before.

Coca-Cola 600. Imagine a 1000km F1 race.

Uh...How many right turns are there in the Indy 500?

NASCAR can be very exciting towards the end of the race. The middle at times can be called NAPCAR, but that is pretty much all racing, IMO.

I was an Indy fan when I was younger, but that series has faded big time overall. The Indy 500 is huge though.

I think NASCAR does the best job as far as TV production of the race is concerned.

I never would have thougt in a million years I would have liked NASCAR, then I went to a race at Daytona and was hooked.

You're right about IRL, I'm just partial to road courses and the more technical aspects of F1 and IRL. I'll watch NASCAR every now and then, definitely at Watkins Glen and Infineon. The Indy 500 is a classic so I watch that every year, and the Daytona 500. Haven't even mentioned ALMS yet. I went to the 24 hours of Le Mans 3x, absolutely the most incredible race(s) I've ever been to, but then again, I've never been to Mone Carlo

So for me:

F1 > ALMS> IRL>NASCAR but all of those series are better than no racing at all.

If you got hooked at Daytona, you have to do Talladega. I've been to several Daytona 500s, Dover and Talladega. Haven't watched a race since Dale checked out though...
