I'm just messing with Autocad....and am spending hours ....trying to replicate/draw a couple of mouldings into digital copies.

Just short of some $$$ machines, and I'm willing to spend some $$, anyone know if there is anything that is $800-less that I can literally hold against the piece and *scan or input* directly into any sort of cad program...
How accurate do I want to get --- I'm spendings hours printing and then comparing to the tracing profile gauge....and it's too much time spent.

If there was anything in my budget range, fo-sure I would be opted to purchase.
