Engines for this model will be the diesel engine from the 535d (bi-turbo), 8 cylinder engines 192hp - 360hp and there'll also be a ///M version     - Jan

Now that is a cool car! But I will say it's one of the wierdest thing's I've seen in a while.. It's got a mix of 6 and 7 series, it's a coupe, but it's got huge wheels and it's somehow an X5...
 Wierd...

Thanks for the pics Jan. BMW needs something to compete with MB's CLS and R-class. And I read somewhere Panke talking about the crossover vehicle, and he mentioned that Acura has a good crossover vehicle.

Wow--very interesting stuff. Looks like I am going to have some difficult choices when I part with the X in 4 years or so.

Reminds me of how Audi converted an A6 Avant into the allroad (which is not a bad thing, by the way).

What was that coupe concept called? The Z9 Toursimo or something? I don't remember, but it sure closely evolved into the 6-Series...
Look, even the wheels closely resemble the 19" on the 645Ci, and the bottom headlight shape... It's a very cool concept!
