3 years for stealing Lance's bike...
I know there are different levels of intent here and some people may have had priors, but come on.  Stealing Lance Armstrong's bike warrants lengthy jail term - ESPN

I don't get it ... this guy gets 3yrs for a $10K bike and today Ira ( Madoff's) lawyer requested to the Judge 12 yrs prison term for his client ...... for stealing $50 Billion....
the bike stealer got about a year in prison for every $3,300 he stole... Madoff will get about a year in prison for every $ 4.1 Billion he stole  WTF !!!!!

Justice isn't just blind, it can also be deaf and dumb... but no matter what it will almost always be greedy... It seems to depend on whether the crime was perpetrated by or against a rich/famous person.
