One easy solution is to drag & drop your music from your PC/Mac iTunes music library into your Palm Pre music folder manually.
The other official solution is to get MarkSpace Missing Sync software for Palm Pre and yes, it's been confirmed that even with iTunes 8.2.1, Missing Sync will still allow iTunes syncing with the Palm Pre. With all these options I guess iTunes
sync should not be be needed and it's no big deal......

Yeah, silly Jon Rubenstein (who basically developed the first iPod) thought that he could get away with syncing the Palm Pre with iTunes without paying licensing fees to Apple...
Just because you used to work for Apple and helped turn them around with developing iMacs and iPod doesn't give him the right to be friendly with Apple software once he left the company... Quote:
