Canon 50D for $629!

I have an old 10D with a broken flash (accidentally dropped it about a year ago) so I called Canon about getting it fixed. Long story short the bench rate is $180-$290/hour, and the camera generally sells for $150 on fleabay.

Obviously that's not a good deal, so I said thanks but no.

The tech rep then told me about a Canon Loyalty program they have in the US where you can trade in a broken/defective 10D or 20D and get a 50D body only for $629, a rebel with an 18-55 for $359 or a 50D w/28-135 for $759.

This deal is awesome, I jumped all over it.

$680 (tax/shipping) for a refurbished 50D body with a 90 day Canon warranty and free return shipping on the 10D back to Canon.

If you have a broken/damaged/defective old Canon DSLR call 1800 828 4040 and see if it qualifies for the Loyalty program.
