It works for me Nice pictures. Personally I'm not a boating fan, but I can imagine it being relaxing as you catch the breeze.

Went all the way to Burlington Vt.

Yes a need a telephoto lens for my Canon, probably with stabilization, any suggestions?

Blue, what Canon model do you have?
Imo, that 70-300 is overkill: heavy, big/long, and unless you are
trying to shoot the peregrine falcons along the Palisades, it
is an awfully long tele. I was just busting your butt on all those
semi-wide angle snaps you posted. A medium zoom tele that goes
out to ~135mm is probably what you need, at most.

Photo 11 is my new photo a 27 foot World Cat with twin Honda 225's .

It will do 50 MPH but more importantly will archive 2.4 MPG will crusing at 30 MPH.
