good legal malpractice insurance provider?
To the attorneys of xoutpost...
This horrible economy is finally making me seriously consider starting up my own firm. As luck would have it, I've already received numerous requests from people I know for assistance with various legal issues, so I'm giving it a lot of thought.
Obviously, the FIRST thought that came to mind (besides setting up a website when the time comes) is legal malpractice insurance. I have no idea where to start looking to determine what's a "good and reputable" insurance company, but a friend of a very prominent attorney recommended this company:
Lawyers' Mutual Insurance Company
Thoughts?
Thank you!
