Bible Burning Set for Halloween...
in the next town from me, has been humping his proposed Bible Burning on Halloween. His plan was to burn any non-King James Version Bible, and a long list of other books, CDs by various artists, (from rap to Christian), etc. The local news media has been suspiciously low key on this story, other than a few snippets and, the Haywood County Fire Marshall points out that he will be fined if they do hold an open burning...seems it's ok to have daily brush fires here in the Mtns, but the subject of the fire has to be "vegetative",  .In snooping the 'Net, I could only come up with a few links, most of which were not too in depth. I did find the good pastor's site which had a link for the bible burning, pasted below. The graphics are not easy on the eyes. Maybe this should be in the PoliSci forum, but that's a Mod's call... Conservative Bible Project - Conservapedia I've heard that some far-right conservatives are pushing to remove all liberal references fom the Bible.

Ridiculous
Thanks for the info on Conservapedia. I love where the website discredits the "social justice" movement. Christ was all about compassion and social justice! I am a Christian but this stuff does not represent what 90% of us are about.
