Train stops inches before woman

Pardon if a re-post...I believe this was in Boston. This is one of the many reasons i arrange for a car service when i hit the pubs. Bet she'll take a taxi home next time.

Saw that this morning. She was as lucky as she was drunk.

I watched someone jump onto the tracks of a suburban train in Paris the other morning. They need to have barriers at the train stations. Not because its dangerous, but every time someone decides life is too hard, it ruins traffic for hours.

Props to the MBTA for being able to stop, but I'm with JAA, what about the third rail? Or is it overhead power?

Why spend tax dollars on complete idiots because they can't take care of themselves? This isn't something where we should put in crosswalk signals that beep for blind people, but because it's not their fault, I'm ok w/ that. Now this dumbass drunk chick, she's another story. It's not the job of other American's to babysit and pacify the rest of the world because she's to dumb to get out of her own way or learn when to call it quits. I saw this clip on the news this morning...first thing I though was that I hope to god they charge her w/ drunk and disorderly, disturbing the peace, etc. Obviously being drunk on your feet can be just as dangerous as drunken driving, so to let her off w/o a hitch would be completely hypocritical, especially after it's been aired on national news.
