In the market for new cell phone

I know this is discussed a fair amount on this board, but what is currently getting good reviews at this time?

I am staying w/Verizon - can get a real good price on E815. Seems decent. My daughter wants a LG9800 - but c'mon - gimme a break. In fact - she probably WOULD break it fairly quickly.

Anyway - let me know what you think.

PS - COMPLETELY different topic, but I saw a 60" Sony SXRD tv in BestBuy yesterday. Totally awesome picture. They are asking $4700 for it.

If you want Bluetooth and wish to stick with Verizon then the e815 is probably one of the better choices at the moment.

Thanks - do you know of anything interesting being released (by Verizon) in the near future? The other phone my daughter wants (family plan) is a Razr. Any chance that will be available through Verizon anytim soon?

razr's are more fragile than that 9800... my boss picked up a 9800 just today, looks pretty damn solid.

Verizon and Alltel both (the two larger CDMA companies) will be getting the RAZR in late November, reportedly.

I heard the same rumor but I also heard that Verizon wanted Motorola to add an antenna to the RAZR and Moto refused. There was also another rumor that they were going to adapt a Korean market RAZR to the CDMA network here in the States.

I have a RAZR and like it quite a bit for the cool factor but it doesn't really function any better than an E815 or V710.

Get the MOTO E815 from Verizon. I have it and love it, and it works flawlessly with the X5's BT system
