Saab deal is off - Koenigsegg backs out of deal
GM announced that the deal was off on Tuesday and gave no reason why the deal fell apart, nor did the automaker say what would happen to Saab. In a statement, GM CEO Fritz Henderson said: "We're obviously very disappointed with the decision to pull out of the Saab purchase. Many have worked tirelessly over the past several months to create a sustainable plan for the future of Saab by selling the brand and its manufacturing interests to Koenigsegg Group AB. Given the sudden change in direction, we will take the next several days to assess the situation and will advise on the next steps next week.

I agree that Ford should keep Volvo however the problem is that Ford does not address the suspension. I had two V70's and the first one was a smaller pre-ford design that handled well. It was a nice car but had issues with emision controls and was in the dealer once a month for this issue. The second one was a Volvo/Ford car it was reliable and trouble free and look nice but it felt big and did not handle well. The current V70 looks even better but lacks handling.
