I'm driving down a residential side street doing maybe 20 mph and out of now where this little scrawny, shaved poodle darts out in front of me. I nailed the brakes and hear the dreaded thump.

I'm thinking, damn...I just killed someone's puppy. I put the X in reverse and roll back thinking I'm going to see road kill. Nothing there. I look around and see the poodle on the sidewalk. I wait to see if he's hurt. He starts walking, and seems OK. No limping. I attempt to drive away. As soon as I start to roll forward, he comes out and sits right in front of me. I hit the horn, he moves to the side, I roll forward, and here he comes IN FRONT OF ME AGAIN. This continued for a good 15 minutes.
When I was finally able to make a move without him jumping in front of me, he chased me down the block, yapping all the way.
I hate little yappy dogs.
